I was slipping through the pages when I read the wise sayings from Yogi Raman.

What an honor to share them with you and hopefully these will help you focus in 2009.

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary projects, all of your thoughts break their bonds; your mind transcends limitation, your conscious expands in every direction and you find yourself in a new, great and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive and you discover yourself to be a greater person than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”

…Be inspired by great thoughts in 2009 and live with a passion.

All the best.

Be patient and live with the knowledge that all you are searching for is certain to come if you prepare for it and expect it.

Last year (2007) I really believed that I could do, have and be whatever I wanted. I remember the way I used to feel. There was no limit to what my future could bring. I honestly don’t think I have felt that kind of freedom and joy in years… and at times I questioned myself through out this year what happen? Had I perhaps lost sight of my dreams?

But yet again, I had spent half of last year being employed… this year I started moving the small steps of creating my own “Empire” :-). Little did I know how tough building a business would be. Mann... this has stretched all my nerves.

God on my side and reflecting on his goodness in my life, I resolved to spend less time making a living and to spend are more time creating a life.
I started thinking about my dreams for a change focusing on questions like WHY DO I DO WHAT I DO?

Jonas Salk said it best when he wrote: I have had dreams and I have had nightmares. I have overcome the nightmares because of my dreams.

When I look back and think how I have been able to go through the whole year, I reflect on a lot of stuff. Expanding my imagination has been one of my main focuses throughout 2008. I have come to realize that things and situations are created twice. First, in the mind and then in reality. It is said that anything that is created in your outside world began as a blue print in your inner world.
Understanding the magnitude of this theory made me think twice. The starting point of magnificent transformation was mental fitness. Wow…I came to realize that the mind is a wonderful servant… but a terrible master.

Winston Churchill said that, The Price of Greatness is responsibility over each thought.

You either use your mind or lose it!

I now understand that I’m more than my current circumstances and am expecting the best. I have learnt to see the seeds of opportunity in my painful experiences.
I have learnt to forget about the past and pressured myself to dare to dream.

Of recent, all I want is to celebrate life again with all its wonders and make things happen.

Christmas Newsletter

Dear friend,

There is much to be thankful for during this Christmas season for me. I am doing fine and still having my trots four to five times a week, which improves my strength, balance, and stamina.
I also play basket-ball to improve my skills. Life has been fulfilling in the little things that have happened to me. I have found True Fulfillment that has brought Joy and Happiness in my life.

My family is doing great and God’s provision has been enormous.

Business is still really slow but this won’t slow me down or keep me from reaching my highest potential in new ways. I don’t want to use ANY excuse for not doing something I am supposed to do. I have been extremely blessed to have different coaches and mentors through out this year who have been my role models.
There have been great openings and some doors have been shut but I still believe that the best is ahead of me. Some things you can change and some you can't. It's a fact that you cannot change a single event that has already happened. Tomorrow, however, is an entirely different matter.

We humans tend chase & search for Joy & Happiness when we should be searching for Fulfillment. I have learnt to search for fulfillment throughout 2008. This change has been good for me because I had to face the fact that change is inevitable but can be positive and beneficial.

A great man once said, you build a successful career, regardless of your field of endeavor, by the dozens of little things you do on and off the job.

No matter what your emotional limitations, they can never limit your character...unless you let them.

As I embrace the waterfall journey for the coming year I believe that if I’m willing to change my thinking today, I can change my life and my living to make my tomorrow better and brighter.

One last piece of big news, Thanks to my niece and nephew, I can now ride a bicycle and there is a great story behind it.
Am ready for the adventures of life in 2009 and hopefully this will include climbing a mountain, roller skating, and learning how to ride a motorbike.

Don’t forget to pray this festive season. "When you go to church, good things happen!"

As Zig Ziglar says, "Coincidence is just God's way of staying anonymous."

Embrace life and keep believing.

Merry Christmas!

Live with a passion,
Katherine Lungiwe

MIND MANAGEMENT THE REAL MEANING OF LIFE MANAGEMENT!

My…my…my…what an enormous power we have with Nature’s Greatest Gift, “The Mind”.
William James said; “Most people live – whether physically, intellectually or morally - in a very restricted circle of their potential being. We all have reservoirs of life to draw upon which we do not dream.

The way I think stems from my habits and that is pure, simple and complete.

Researchers say that, An average person on an average day runs about 60,000 (Sixty thousand) thoughts through his/her mind... 60,000 thoughts!
Now, 95% of those thoughts are the same as the ones you thought the day before!
Imagine that...!

So people who think the same thoughts everyday, most of them negative have fallen into bad mental habits. Now this is what i refer to as the brutality of poor thinking.

Rather than focusing on all the good in our lives and think of ways to make things better we become captives of our past and this blocks a huge potential of our minds to work the supernatural and bring into us all that we want emotionally, physically and spiritually.

My mind is said to be more like a garden that needs to be nurtured and cultivated for it to bloom far beyond expectation.

A question is then asked: Would you go into your flower bed and throw poisonous waste over all your Roses?

I have come to believe in the importance of caring for my mind. So I do understand that when I sit down and worry, I drain from my mind much power and sooner or later my soul will be injured therefore removing lasting peace and harmony in me.

I have therefore decided that I must stand guard to my consciousness and let only the best information enter. I should do more that exist to awaken the flames of my human potential.

Don’t let weeds grow around your Greatest Gift. And remember there are no mistakes in life, Only lessons.

ENLIGHTENED LIVING?

It was 3:40 am and so awake because of the disturbing dream I had. Knowing who I am in Christ I went into a period of praying and meditation. For what seemed like hours I commanded my subconscious to transform its thoughts from fear to calmness and serenity.

The longer I prayed, the more I came to realize that my own spirit had become rusty. What had happened to me? Back then even the simplest things filled me with believe.

Can this be true? Is it time to reinvent my destiny? My mind, soul, and body are open for this new invention. I empty my glass for my desire 0f knowledge that will help me expand to the workings that attain self-mastery.

I know that it’s important for me to fill my mind with insights on the meaning of life and understand how Personal-mastery & Self-responsibility will keep me from the chaos of crisis charactered world today.
New habits and life-styles have to begin to associate with my inner world. So in order to get more joy and spontaneous, grow more energetic and creative with each passing day, I need to apply new techniques to cultivate a deep sense of peace and inner serenity.

I need to feel I can do anything, be anything and unlock the infinite potential that is inside of me. I need to cherish life once again.
The world and that includes my inner world is a very special place. I have come to see that success on the outside means nothing unless you have success with-in.

A wise man once said: “There is a big difference between well-being and being well-off.”

How can I care for others if I can’t care for myself? How can I do good if I don’ti feel good? It's only when i have mastered the art of loving self that i can truly love others. It's only when i open my own heart that i can touch the hearts of others. When i feel centered and alive, am in a much better position to be a better person.

I’m ready for an experience like never before to the powers of the universe.

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.

As I sit on my chair quietly, I realize how small the world is, the life coaches that help improve my life on a daily basis, the vast knowledge in all the books I have read.
How will I feel to gain my zest for living? Could there be a higher calling than this? With all the heavy considerations of my mind… I sit and take time to think about my life.

Take a trip with me to a trip of understanding self- mastery and responsibility.

EMPTY YOUR CUP

In his Book “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, Robin. S. Sharma narrated this story: Page 34

He started to pour tea into my waiting cup. He poured until the cup was full _ but then he kept on pouring! Tea started to trickle down the sides of my cup and onto the saucer, then onto my wife’s prized Persian rug. At first I watched silently. Then I couldn’t take it anymore.

“Julian, what are you doing? My cup is overflowing. No matter how hard you try, no more will go in!” I yelled impatiently.

He looked at me for a long moment. “Please don’t take this the wrong way. I really respect you, I always have. However, just like this cup you seem to be full of your own ideas. And how can anymore go in… until you first empty your cup?”

I too was stuck by the truth of this knowledge. This little story is so right.
Life experiences have filled my cup to the brim. I need to empty it to increase my creative soul and keeping my vision live.

Thank You

I feel different and embodied with a radiant sense of calmness. It’s about 4:05pm and engulfing with thanks for all life has provided.

A week ago Rhonda Byrne introduced us to what we call “Thank You Thursday”
(www.klungiwe.wordpress.com) and I continue to say, I’m so grateful that you reading this today. You hold a special place in my heart.

RECAP: - www.klungiwethoughtsandreflections.blogspot.com”

From The Secret Daily Teachings - Thank You Thursday.

“Today is Thank You Thursday. Today and every Thursday is your day to say and feel “Thank you” in as many ways as you can.

Write a list of all the people and events you want to give thanks for.

Return thanks today to those who have done things for you.

As you walk say “Thank you” in your mind with each step you take.

As you drive, make each time you stop your cue to say “Thank you.”

At various times in the day, think and feel “Thank you” inside you seven times in a row.

Look for every opportunity to say “Thank you” to other people, and say it with so much meaning that the person looks right at you.

Thank your way through every Thursday, and make “Thank you” your predominant thought, feeling, and words of the day.

“Thank you” - two words, inconceivable potential power, and all they need is you to put the power into them by expressing them.

Thank you!”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let’s all take a minute or two to say out loud the 20 things… we are so grateful for at the moment.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And as I relax in my chair, I couldn’t help but notice that I became a different person altogether after that exercise.

Thank you, Danke schone, Gracias, Merci, Asante, Webale nyoo.... you make e a better person

HOW THEN CAN I LEARN TO BUILD A FULLER LIFE?

On your death bed, you will never wish you spent more time in your office.

I too have walked this path, my friend; I too have felt the pain of being captured by work. Yet I have learn't that everything happens for a reason.
Yogi Krishnan once said that “Every event has a Purpose and Every Setback its Lessons.”
Failure whether of personal, professional, or even of a spiritual kind is essential for personal expansion. It brings inner growth. Our past is a teacher and we should learn to embrace it as just that.

How then can I learn to build a fuller life? Is there any holistic system that can profoundly improve one’s quality Of life? By this I mean Mind, Body and Soul?

Some journeys, we have to make alone. For the past week I have silently reflected on where I have been in this life and where I was now heading.
At times I have slowly ventured out of the cocoon of the ordinary and began to explore the realm of the extra-ordinary. Life is all about choices. One’s destiny unfolds according to the choices one makes.

I have realized, I need to stop giving excuses of an out of balance life-style.

We have been turned into “slaves” by work toiling away in our offices, thinking we have the world by the tail, blinded by an illusory version of success.
We drive ourselves deeper into the ground as if we have some death wish.
Nothing ever satisfying us. We still have not found whatever we are wishing for and it shows mentally, physically and spiritually. Our spark of life begins to flicker. You feel no passion for what you are doing and feel enveloped by emptiness.

What then do we have to do to rekindle that sparkle that we have lost?
How can one retain and maintain their youthful, energetic, vital life in today’s world?
Can we perform duties with easy, grace and kindness?

We all have to find the sanctuary where a broken spirit would slowly start to heal. A place where you would rekindle the fire for living that you had known before it all faded away. A sanctuary full of simplicity, serenity and harmony.

As for me, I believe the best is yet to come and am willing to give up some stuff to re-energize my life?

What Next?

Well… One’s destiny unfolds according to the choices one makes... May be it’s time for me to reinvent my destiny.
Living with a passion!

Happy Thanksgiving

Today is “Thank You Thursday”.
Join millions of people around the world to say and feel “Thank You” in as many ways as you can.

I am thankful for having you in my life. Thank you for being a friend and believing in the cause. You make earth a better place. I believe in you.

Tony Robbins says; "When you are grateful, fear disappears and abundance appears."

Do the twists and turns of life take you by surprise? Throw you off? Keep you from finding a reason to be thankful?

In our world of deadlines and demands, it’s easy to take things for granted, never feeling a genuine sense of gratitude. Yet if we gravitate to a place of awe and wonder, where time stands still, we may realize in that moment that we are right with the world. The spirit of gratitude is especially fitting this season as we look to those who have been on the journey with us, acknowledging them with gifts of thanks and praise.

THE POWER OF CLARITY.

Clarity has amazing strength. When one is clear about something the have to do, they posses amazing ability to do so much more in life.

Recently I realized I had gained some weight. Not too much…but I had gained a little …:-).
It was clear I had to do something about it. As can be expected, I’m one of those fellas! So I made a personal decision to loss it the right-way.

I made it clear to my sub-conscious and drafted down ways in which I could act. I have since decided to walk for one or two hours for the first 10 days. Then break it down to 45 mins - 1 hr the rest of the month.
I have resorted to a morning or evening trot and I look forward each day.
Fortunately for me, walking is a passion so I don’t feel pushed to do it.

Take some time off today and write down some personal decisions that will help you be a better person. Have fun doing it. This Power of Clarity can transform and refresh your life."

N.B. Many times, personal decisions don't wait for the picture to be clarified.

SELF- ACCEPTANCE

Self-acceptance begins in infancy, with the influence of your parents and siblings and other important people.

Your own level of self-acceptance is determined largely by how well you feel you are accepted by the important people in your life.

Your attitude toward yourself is determined largely by the attitudes that you think other people have toward you. When you believe that other people think highly of you, your level of self-acceptance and self-esteem goes straight up.

The best way to build a healthy personality involves understanding yourself and your feelings.

This is achieved through the simple exercise of self-disclosure. For you to truly understand yourself, or to stop being troubled by things that may have happened in your past, you must be able to disclose yourself to at least one person. You have to be able to get those things off your chest. You must rid yourself of those thoughts and feelings by revealing them to someone who won't make you feel guilty or ashamed for what has happened.

Understand What Makes You Tick.

The second part of personality development follows from self-disclosure, and it's called self-awareness. Only when you can disclose what you're truly thinking and feeling to someone else can you become aware of those thoughts and emotions If the other person simply listens to you without commenting or criticizing, you have the opportunity to become more aware of the person you are and why you do the things you do. You begin to develop perspective, or what the Buddhists call "detachment."

Be Honest With Yourself.

Now we come to the good part. After you've gone through self-disclosure to self-awareness, you arrive at self-acceptance. You accept yourself for the person you are, with good points and bad points, with strengths and weaknesses, and with the normal frailties of a human being. When you develop the ability to stand back and look at yourself honestly, and to candidly admit to others that you may not be perfect but you're all you've got, you start to enjoy a heightened sense of self-acceptance.

Do An Inventory of Your Accomplishments.

A valuable exercise for developing higher levels of self-acceptance involves doing an inventory of yourself. In doing this inventory, your job is to accentuate the positive and minimize the negative.

Think of your unique talents and abilities. Think of your core skills, the things that you do exceptionally well that account for your success in your profession and in your personal life right now.

Think About Your Future.

Think about your future possibilities and the fact that your potential is virtually unlimited. You can do what you want to do and go where you want to go. You can be the person you want to be. You can set large and small goals and make plans and move step-by-step, progressively toward their realization. There are no obstacles to what you can accomplish except the obstacles that you create in your mind.

BALANCING YOUR LIFE & TIME

It’s totally true that timing is everything; however we must try and have a balanced life.

Many of us get so confused that we seem not to see our unbalanced lives; we have become so absolved at work, having little or no time for anything else.

Let’s take some time out to review these questions:

When is the last time you celebrated life with your close friends?
When is the last time you went to church or found spiritual awakening?
When is the last time you volunteered at a community event?
When is the last time you spent some time with your family?
Or when is the last time you appreciated nature?
When is the last time you exercised?
When is the last time you smiled?

C'mon! Let's celebrate life and divide our time wisely.
We all have 24hours a day. How we use this time makes all the difference in life.

Wouldn't you like to have more time available to get more done? To make more money and have more time to spend doing the things you like, and being with the people that make you happy? It's easy... become the master of your time. We are the masters of our fate… we reap what we sow, so let’s manage our time wisely.

Your mistakes could be your Stepping Stone.

Nobody said it better than Brian Tracy and I quote from the last email he wrote to me: “Everyone makes mistakes and the busier you are, the more mistakes you will make. The only question is "How well and how effectively do you deal with the inevitable ups and downs of life?"

Amazingly, according to statistics, 70 percent of all decisions we make will be wrong. And that's an average. This means that some people will fail more than 70 percent of the time, and some people will fail less.

We should learn to use our mistakes to better ourselves and to improve the quality of our minds and our thinking.

W. Edwards Deming a “quality expert” said, learning is not compulsory, but neither is survival.

Quotes To Feed On

"Champions are made not by how they start but by how they show up under pressure. And at the end."Robin Sharma

"All endeavour calls for the ability to tramp the last mile, shape the last plan, endure the last hours toil. The fight to the finish spirit is the one characteristic we must possess if we are to face the future as finishers."
Henry David Thoreau

"Blaming others is excusing yourself and sometimes you just have to roll up your sleeves and make things happen to get the results you want."Robin Sharma

LIFE

Proudly in the human race and yet people think am immuned to the ups and downs of life.

There are times I feel like am in the desert. Waking up to the sand-dues and being squashed by the heat during the day. In these moments life seems pretty hard… too hard to explain. Filled with questions I cease not to understand it all.

Yet beneath my mind… I have come to understand that life is more than enough. For it seems to give you only what you can handle.
When you are in the right path, life seems harder. There are valleys and hills…which all seem to be too much in a given time.

Life! Giving you only what you can handle? Sometimes it’s so hard to believe, but whatever situation you might be going through, Life knows that you can handle it.

Isn’t it true, that if you hold-on or just take one step more you will reach your destiny?

Can u count how many times you have laughed today?

Ladies and gentlemen …. Let’s keep laughing.

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do."
Eleanor Roosevelt, Former First Lady

Make yourself a better person.

Scott Sorrell said: "You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person."
Wow.... in otherwords it begins with me. It begins with you...
How many times have we wanted to begin with others before ourselves?

Thought is the original source

"Thought is the original source of all wealth, the original source of all success, the original source of all material gain, the original source of all great discoveries and inventions, the original source of and of all achievement."

Thought is the original source

"Thought is the original source of all wealth, the original source of all success, the original source of all material gain, the original source of all great discoveries and inventions, the original source of and of all achievement."

Some important quotes.

Bruce Barton, Author and Politician said, "If you can give your son or daughter only one gift, let it be enthusiasm."

Amazing to know how important enthusiasm is in one’s life!

David Rockefeller said, "Success in business requires training and discipline and hard work. But if you're not frightened by these things, the opportunities are just as great today as they ever were."

Let’s think about this for a moment…

BE OPEN MINDED

The more the people feel that you are open-minded and empathetic and sensitive to their needs and concerns, the more open they will be to your influencing them positively in some way. And the more you can influence others with the power and impact of your personality, the more you will accomplish, and the faster you will accomplish it.

A NOTE OF ENCOURAGEMENT.

I now realize that we need to fix in our minds the exact thing we desire. It is never sufficient just to say I want this…one has to be definite as to what she or he exactly wants. Having a burning desire will eventually come to your aid. If you truly want something so keenly that your desire is an obsession you will have no difficulty in convincing yourself that you will acquire it. The object is to want it and to become determined to have it that you convince yourself you will have it.

So go on and Imagine yourself as a………………………………(Fill in the blank) have sufficient imagination and write it down on paper. Don’t leave anything to chance or good luck. All leaders who have accumulated great success first did a certain amount of dreaming, hoping, wishing, desiring and planning before they acquired it.

You can never have success in great quanlity unless you can work yourself into a burning desire for it and actually believe you can get it.

DESIRES to OBSESSIONS.

A great man once said, “The starting point of all achievement is to Desire.”
This can be translated into craving or longing. But in this case, one must have gigantic thoughts; one must see him/herself standing in the presences of what they want.
One must have a burning desire… and I’m not just referring to some Hope or a Wish.
I’m referring to something specific and well-defined.
Sooner or later, this desire will be translated into reality. As said earlier, “Our Dominating Thoughts Become a Reality.”

We should choose a definite goal; place all our energy, all our will power, all our effort and everything on the goal. Then burn all the bridges behind us and stand by our desire until it becomes the dominating obsessions in our lives.

Define one thing in the world that you are determined to have and let it be specific. Then erase all the things stopping you in your mind and stake the entire future on the ability to get what you want. In the end, this goal will turn into a fact.

When the going gets tough and the future looks hopeless most people would go where it’s easier but The Tough Get Going.
Every human being wishes for something. Wishing will not bring dreams to pass, but desiring with a state of mind which becomes an obsession, then planning definite ways and means to acquire it with persistence which doesn’t recognize failure will bring you to succeed.

WIN OR WIN. That is all there is.

It’s 4:54am and I’m absolved in the fascinating habit of writing. The tranquility around me seems to take its toll. I am so thankful and grateful for yet another day and another year. I get into the day with an open-mind, with the questions that have caused me to ponder over the strangest of life.

For the past years, I have noted that one of the strongest weaknesses of human nature is the average man’s familiarity with the word “Impossible." Man seems to know all the rules that will not work and how it cannot be done.

I think we should stake the rules on things that work and focus less on things that don’t work.
Napoleon Hill my best author states that, “Success comes to those who are success conscious. Please note that, failure comes to those who indifferently allow themselves to become failure conscious.

We need to seek and learn the art of changing our minds from failure conscious to success conscious. We should stop using the word IMPOSSIBLE! We have all hard the lines… all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us. Just refuse to believe that which we do not understand. Your limitations are not the proper measure of boundaries. NEVER SAY IT’S IMPOSSIBLE.
Stay at the job until you succeed, no matter how much time is required. Sooner or later the secret will be discovered. Your determination will win.

In the first place, Know what you want (Desire). Henley stated great truths in a poetic form that, “You are the master of your fate, and you are the captain of your soul”. In other words, “You Have The Power To Control Your Thoughts”. There is no thing like impossibility given the right time. All things are possible with time.

Your brain becomes magnetized with the dominating thoughts which you are holding in your mind and these magnets attract to you the forces, the people, the circumstances of life which harmonize with nature of our dominating thoughts.

Before you can accumulate any thing you must magnetize our minds with intense desire of the possibilities in your life. …ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE…maintain the spirit of open mindness.

Quote for the day:

Whatever THE MIND OF MAN can CONCEIVE and BELIEVE it CAN ACHIEVE. (Napoleon Hill)

LESSONS IN PERSISTENCE

In Mother Teresa’s a poem about Life, she writes, “Life is a gift, TAKE it.

LIFE is a gift no matter what we all go through.
We all go through the “University of Hard Rocks”, our real life experiences that may not be so good but we should make sure that we profit from these incidents.
“No” and “Failures” do not necessary mean the end of life.

Do not be moved by what has not worked out in your life, Persist; this is the key to success. Sooner or later you will receive what you deserve. You will conquer, this I promise.

“Master your situations”, do not let your situations Master you. Keep your mind alert, you have strange power to take over situations. Go back to your past experiences of Failure or Defeat, and bring to surface some lessons by which you can regain all that you have lost.

When people say “NO”, Say… NEXT! And go on.

These experiences are blessings in disguise. Keep on keeping on, no matter how hard the going might be.

Three Feet From Gold.

There is a story told by Napoleon Hill of an uncle of R. U. Darby who was caught by the “gold rush” in the gold rush days, and went west to dig and grow riche had never heard that more gold has been mined from the thoughts of men than has ever been taken from the earth. He staked a claim and went to work with pick and shovel.

After weeks of labor, he was rewarded by the discovery of the shining ore. He needed machinery to bring the ore to the surface. Quietly, he covered up the mine, retraced his footsteps to his home in Williamsburg, Maryland, told his relatives and a few neighbors of the “strike.” They got together money for the needed machinery, and had it shipped. The uncle and Darby went back to the mine.

The first car of ore was mined and shipped to the smelter. The returns proved they had one of the richest mines in Colorado! A few more cars of that ore would clear the debts. Then would come the big killings in profits.

Down went the drills! Up went the hopes of Darby and uncle! Then something happened. The vein of gold ore disappeared! They had come to the end of the rainbow, and the pot of gold was no longer there. They drilled on, desperately trying to pick up the vain again – all to no again.

Finally, they decided to Quit.

They sold the machinery to a junk man for a few hundred dollars, and took the train back home. The junk man called in a mining engineer to look at the mine and do a little calculating. The engineer advised that the project had failed because the owners were not familiar with fault lines. His calculations showed that the vain would be found just "Three Feet" from where the Darbys had stopped drilling! That is exactly where it was found.

This junk man took millions of dollars in ore from the mine because he knew enough to seek expert counsel before giving up. Never stop because some people say “No.” Profit by the experience but never stop because of circumstances.
Before success comes in any person’s life, he is sure to meet some obstacles or temporary defeats and perhaps some failures.

One of the most universal causes of failure is the habit of quitting when one is overtaken by temporary defeat. Every one of us is guilty of this mistake at one time or another.

When defeat overtakes man, the easiest and most logical thing to do is to quit. That is what the majority of us do.
But success comes just one step beyond the point at which defeat had overtaken you. Sometimes failure takes great delight in tripping one when success is almost with in reach.

Do not quit! You are just three feet away from your break-through.

Sly cover ups of Opportunity!

When an opening or opportunity comes up, it appears in a different form and it usually comes from a different direction than expected. This is one of the tricks of opportunity.

A great author once said, “That opportunity has a sly habit of slipping in by the back door, and often it comes disguised in form of misfortune, or temporary defeat.” How true this is!

Sometimes we are not enthusiastic about what stands in our way, but we always have to see that opportunity usually crawls in quietly hidden in queer-looking overalls which interest no one.

Knowing your “Definite Major Purpose” helps you note opportunities and promptly taking chances.

Think and seek the opportunities life hands you. Know what you want and have the determination to stand by your desire until it is realized.

THOUGHTS ARE THINGS. (In other words Feelings become things.)

I woke up this morning looking forward to the rising of the sun…in Africa that seems to be a daily gift. This adds another smile on my amazed face. Another day, one more gift, an extra reason to be thankful.

A great man once said “Thoughts are Things”. And powerful things at that, when mixed with definiteness of purpose, a burning desire and persistence.

Having said that, I look back in my life and search for occurrences that can witness to this.
Three years ago, many people inspired me but not many touched and changed my life like Inspirational and Motivational teachers. I was fascinated by what they taught and wrote. Not only did they give hope, they helped people think and act differently in their day to day life.
I hoped, prayed and dreamed to be part of these people too.

I had a burning desire to become one of them. It was definite; I wanted to work with them. When the desire or impulse of thought first flashed into my mind. I was in no position to act on it. Difficulties of fear stood in my way. I didn’t know where to start from, I didn’t have the experience, and I had no certificate or diploma to help. These difficulties discourage a majority of men from making any attempt to carry out the desire. But this was not any ordinary desire for me!

I presented my prayer to God. Kneeling like an ordinary human. There was something from the bottom of my heart that was real and I was determined to make a difference.

It is said that “When a person really desires a thing so deeply, and is willing to stake his or her entire future on a single turn of the wheel in order to get it, they are sure to win.

At this time I had no experience but a single thought that counted. I made up my mind to stand until I succeeded.

Nothing happened in the first few months but my mind had a Definite Major Purpose. The desire was intensifying day by day. Psychologists have correctly said that, “When one is truly ready for a thing, it puts in its Appearance.”
It is also said that, “When a Student is Ready, the Teacher Appears.” I was ready; moreover I was determined to remain ready until I got that which I was seeking. I was created for a reason and I will accomplish this end even if it takes the remainder of my life. For the first time in life, I meant what I said.

What a different story PEOPLE would have to tell if only they would ADOPT a DEFINITE PURPOSE and stand by that purpose until it became a CONSUMING OBSESSION!
What if we all had a bulldog determination like Napoleon Hill calls it.

Bulldog determination: is Persistence ready to mow down all opposition and bring the opportunity we are seeking.

THE SECRETS OF LIFE!

Stupendously, life takes on its path! 5-6 years ago, I was trapped in a battle... a race that cannot be described. Regardless of me reading a lot of inspiring books and embracing on to many positive beliefs, sad mornings, less smiling & laughing, not looking forward to what the day brings and pursuing almost nothing was beginning to be part of my lifestyle.

As the facts of my life became well-known to me, I started to search for a new path... a direction to happiness, to fulfillment and knowledge.

What was life all about? Where there any secrets to having the life I wanted? Why was I created?

Despite having a job that helped me earn a monthly salary and satisfied with the cash in flow in my business at that time, I quested for real facts to greater life” questions like, “What Do I What From Life? Is this all there is? Could it be that some people are meant to have more than others? If so, where was I placed?
I wanted to know the secret of having it all and staying fulfilled... I wanted to know the undisclosed of not having enough and staying happy. Was it really possible not to have enough and stay happy? I had many questions; It was time to find some answers.

Discouragements, difficulties, failures or physical afflictions could have taken the soul out of me, but this proved to be the oasis in the desert of Lost Hope for which I had been searching. I discovered a peculiar thing about searching for fulfillment; “That those who once acquired it and used it, found themselves literally swept on to “success”. (whatever you definition may be).

So much has been mentioned in many great books that I have read , but I will not directly name any secret or principle for it seems to work more successfully when it is merely uncovered and left in sight where those who are ready and searching for it, may pick it up.
For this reason, I won’t give any specific names of my discoveries. I wish I may feel privileged to tell you how you will know if you are ready but that will deprive you of so much benefit you will receive when you make the discovery in your own way.

Anyways, from that moment on, I realized that there has got to be a price to pay. I came to know that There is no such thing as something for nothing.
I recognized that what I wanted cannot be had without a price… yet I knew that the price will be far less than the value. However, I was determined to find this at any price because I was intentionally searching for it. This led to the resignation from my job.

Did I succeed? This story is to be told too.

Day by day it comes to my knowledge that this cannot be given away, it can not be purchased for money. It comes in possession for those who quest for it and it serves equally well for those who are ready for it.
Believe me; Education has nothing to do with it. Long before we were born, this secret found its way to those hungry for it and many have used it so intelligently even without having gone to school. People have accumulated great fortunes in relationships, family, society, careers and even in monetary areas.
I now realize that all this is not beyond my reach. I appreciated that I could still be who I wished to be. I understood that good relationships, successful careers, close families, happiness & fulfillment, contented souls and lastly money can be found by all who are ready and determined to have these blessings.

So I get to say this to you, that somewhere in your life, the unknown to which I refer will jump from you life experiences and stand boldly before you, if you are ready for it! When it appears, you will recognize it. Stop then for a moment when it presents itself for this may be the turning point of your life.

One can recognize the secret at least once in their day to day lives and all achievement has its beginning however small the idea could seem.
