God will certainly watch over His Word to perform it!

Well, december is a month of giving and sharing... So... i'm at it again :-)

I am learning alot through him.

Here is what 'Joseph Prince' shared with us other day.

"Some years back, I had a skin condition which refused to heal. I told God about it and began to take the Holy Communion believing and confessing that by Jesus' stripes I was healed. Nothing happened, or so it seemed.

But the Lord did not forget about my skin condition. One day, He prompted me to check my body to see if it was still there. I did so and realized that it had disappeared! God had not forgotten the Word which I had confessed in faith.

A mother and daughter, who had been listening to my sermon tapes, began to believe that as the righteousness of God in Christ, they attracted the blessings of God. At that time, the mother had entered her name in a number of lucky draw contests. Together, they believed for the grand prize of one of these contests, which was a S$470,000 private apartment.

Soon after, the mother won two microwave ovens, a rice cooker and a S$5,000 wristwatch. In the excitement of winning those prizes, they completely forgot about the grand prize. But God did not forget what they had believed Him for. Some time later, they received news that the mother was the winner of the private apartment!

Maybe you shared God's Word with a troubled friend a few years ago. You bump into him one day and he tells you, ‚"Remember that day? You said some- thing which transformed my life!‚" Your mind draws a blank because you have forgotten what you said. But God did not forget. He remembered what you said that day in faith.

You see, if the words you confess in faith for yourself or over your loved ones are God's own words, He says, ‚"So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.‚" Because what is promised to you is God's Word, you will see the manifestation of His promise. He will certainly watch over His Word to perform it! (Numbers 23:19)

Thought For The Day
God will certainly watch over His Word to perform it!"

On another note: Today is 12/12/12 :-) One in a million!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go ahead and praise Him for all He is and what He does.
God will certainly watch over His Word to perform it today!

Psalms 91:4

He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Ps 91:4

HE HAS GOT YOU COVERED.

A story is told of A farmer walking around his farm to take stock of his losses after a fire had destroyed it. When he came to the chicken coop, he noticed the charred carcass of a mother hen. He used his foot to turn the carcass over and to his surprise, live chicks ran out from under it! The mother hen had died protecting her chicks from the fire.

I share once again what i learnt the other day from Joseph Prince's daily reading plan...

In the Bible, wings speak of protection. David said to God, ‚"Hide me under the shadow of Your wings.‚" (Psalm 17:8) Jesus Himself offered protection to the Jewish nation when He said, ‚"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing!‚" (Luke 13:34)

He wanted to gather the children of Israel under His wings to protect them, but they were not willing. That was why He wept over Jerusalem. He literally shed tears because He saw the destruction that would come upon His people. He saw the Roman siege of Jerusalem in AD70, when the Romans burnt the city and holy temple, slaughtered many, took some captive and sold others as slaves. (Luke 19:41-44) I believe that He also saw the Holocaust of World War II, which resulted in the extermination of six million Jews.

For us, because we have not rejected Jesus, but have received Him as our Savior, we have His protection, especially in these times of deadly pestilences, natural catastrophes and terrorist attacks.

Like the mother hen who spread her wings and died protecting her chicks, Jesus spread His wings of love and died on the cross for us. And after He had died to save us, He rose again and lives today to make sure that we are well taken care of.

Beloved, see yourself under the wings of your Savior, who has promised you this in His Word: ‚"He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge.‚"

yello to you,

I hope you had a great weekend!
We have so much to be grateful for, not only during this holiday season, but every day. I'm particularly grateful for you being a part of my life, and allowing me to be a part of yours.

Just thinking out loud about the grace of our God,
Have you ever tried to break a bad habit on your own? Ammm! You probably found that when you tried to stop it by total willpower, you saw improvement for a while, and then bounced back to square one. Worse, you found yourself doing the very thing that you were trying not to do. Or, your condition is even worse than before ...

The changes were temporary because it was you doing it.

When you receive the grace of God to do for you what you cannot do, you will experience effortless and permanent change on the inside, which in turn changes your actions on the outside. The Bible tells us that God works in us to give us both the will and ability to perform what He desires. It is God who removes the old want to's and gives us new ones. And He even gives us the power to carry them out!

Beloved, look to His grace to do what you cannot do. Say, ‚"Lord, I cannot, but You can!‚" Then, what you experience will not merely be behavior modification, but true and lasting inward transformation!

Ohh, btw i pray that we identify those characters in us that need to be changed.

Because the blessing of the Lord is upon you...!

I just need to share this with you.

I practically love reading my daily devotions by Joseph Prince.
This is one of my highlights in the weeeee hours of my morning.

Friends, this was powerful!

" Deut 28:10, Then all the nations of the world will see that you are a people claimed by the Lord, and they will stand in awe of you.

Today, we are called by the name of Christ - Christians. Therefore, the blessing of Deuteronomy 28:10, which says, ‚"Then all peoples of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of the Lord‚" is no longer just a promise but reality!

The second part of the verse - ‚"and they shall be afraid of you‚" - is also true for you. People will respect you. Your boss will favor you and even your competitors will esteem you highly. They know that there is something special about you because good things happen when you are around!

I experienced this blessing when I first started working. I worked in a small third-floor office which constantly smelled of salted fish because there was a salted fish stall on the ground floor. It was in that small, dingy office that I kept on confessing that I was blessed by the Lord, and I experienced divine favor with my clients. My boss could see that there was something different about me.

The company's business flourished and before long, we moved out of that small office to a building which in the mid-eighties was considered an information technology hub. There, we occupied a couple of offices, and started specializing in computer software and courses. Soon, we occupied the entire floor! That was how much God was prospering us.

God was also blessing me tremendously. I was drawing a very good monthly income, enjoying the favor of my boss and was in his inner circle. A few years later, I decided to go into full-time ministry. When I broke the news to my boss, He cried. I never knew how much I meant to him until then. It was only then that I realized what a blessing I had been to him by the grace of God.

Beloved, because you are also called by the name of the Lord, wherever you go, you are a blessing. His blessing is on you. The people around you will look at you and know that you are a blessing going somewhere to happen!

Thought For The Day
Because the blessing of the Lord is upon you, good things happen when you are around!

The Danger of Jealousy

Anger caused by jealousy is one of the first negative emotions mentioned in the Bible. Cain killed his brother Abel because he was jealous to the point of being angry. Although this is one of the more extreme results of jealousy, it reminds us of how dangerous jealousy can be.

In today's society many people feel their status is dependent on their job or position in the church. Because of this mindset, they're afraid someone else may get promoted ahead of them. Jealousy causes them to try to be important in the eyes of man.

If you are one of those who have this problem, understand that God has you where you are for a reason. He knows what's in your future, and He may have you in training for it right now.

Don't despise the days of small beginnings. Our rewards come from obeying the specific callings He's placed on our lives, not from jealously trying to achieve things that you think will impress people. Don't let jealousy grow in you. Trust God to place you where you need to be.

Abba Daddy, jealousy is dangerous and I don't want to have any part of it. My status isn't dependent on worldly positions and recognition. All I need is You.

'ALL I need is YOU. 143

By the way,

I'm more active on my twitter page. In otherwords, I'm such a tweep:-)
Join me in my daily thoughts and shares at: www.twitter.com/klungiwe

How about that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm getting to know that, In Hebrew, the word ‚"accepted‚" implies being treated with favor, delight and acceptance. This means that you and i, for whom Jesus became a burnt offering, are treated by God with favor, delight and acceptance because the beauty and perfection of Jesus have been transferred to you and I. As your burnt offering, Jesus has made atonement for you on your behalf. Whao!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So every day, i should take Jesus as my burnt offering. I should come to God and say, ‚"Father, I thank You that Jesus is my burnt offering. He covers me from head to toe with His righteousness. I thank you daddy, that You see me without spot or wrinkle. You see me covered in all the value and perfection of the work of Your Son. What He is to You,I am. Who He is to You,I am. As He is now,so am I.I am in Him!‚"

Allow me to take this in.... this is so powerful.

Jesus has me covered. Hurray !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't appear before the Father with all my faults and shortcomings.
Jesus proclaims to me what is right with me in spite of what is wrong with me because He has covered me with His perfection.

He is my cheer leader saying, ‚"Go, girl...Go, go, go, girl! I have you covered.

Hahahahaha...there is nothing for me to worry about!‚" ‚"I'm going for it!
There is nothing for me to fear, He is covering me.

You and I are treated by God with favor, delight and acceptance because the beauty and perfection of Jesus have been transferred to you and I.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And there He goes again...God is showing off in my life and I am loving it.

Have a great weekend folks.

From Seedtime to Harvest

Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us that there is a season for everything. We don't all live in the same season at the same time. You should never be jealous of someone who is enjoying harvest while you're still in the planting season. Remember, they had to go through a season of planting just as you are.

Seedtime represents learning the will of God. Each time I choose God's will instead of my own, I'm planting a good seed that will eventually bring a harvest in my life.

Between seedtime and harvest comes a time of waiting. Roots shoot down, digging their way through the ground. It takes time for this to happen, and it takes place underground. Above the ground, you can't tell anything is happening.

After we plant seeds of obedience, we feel like nothing is happening, but all kinds of things are happening inside where we can't see. And like the seed that finally bursts through the ground with a beautiful green shoot, our seeds of obedience will finally break forth into a beautiful manifestation of God in our lives.

Abba Father, because seedtime is necessary for harvest time, I won't get discouraged while I'm waiting and feeling like nothing's happening. I will continue to obey and trust You, knowing that You will bring me into my harvest at just the right time.

Go ahead God, show off in my life. 143

I LOVE JOSEPH PRINCE'S DAILY DEVOTIONS...I LOVE THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1 John 2:1

If you want a glimpse of some real-life celestial drama, picture this: God the Father sits as Judge of the universe with Jesus Christ at His right hand, who is not only your High Priest, but also your Advocate.

When your accuser, the devil, comes along and says, ‚"You have done this wrong and you have not done that right,‚" Jesus says, ‚"Father, the devil is right, but My blood has paid for what the devil is accusing him of.‚"

Then the devil adds, ‚"You have also not been reading the Bible or praying enough. And this morning, you told a lie.‚"

Again, Jesus will say, ‚"Father, the devil has indeed reported correctly, but My blood has paid for all these failures.‚"

God the Father will then slam the gavel on the sound block and say, ‚"Case dismissed! Next!‚"

You need to understand that God can justly declare you innocent and completely righteous because Jesus took your place at the cross, and shed His blood to pay for your sins and condemnation. (2 Corinthians 5:21) God is simply being faithful and just to what Christ has done.

When Jesus rose from the grave, He rose as your Advocate, your lawyer. But unlike most earthly lawyers who take on cases because it serves their interests and wallets, He is a lawyer who is personally interested in your happiness and wellbeing. Unlike earthly lawyers who are not caught up in the feelings and sufferings of their clients, Jesus went through great sufferings for you and paid with His own life so that you can receive all the blessings of God.

As your Advocate today, Jesus ensures that what He died and suffered to give you, you get! In heaven today, He defends and represents you to ensure that the healing, wholeness, protection and other blessings that He died to give you are enforced in your life. Beloved, have confidence in and rest in the ability of your Advocate!

Thought For The Day

As your Advocate today, Jesus ensures that you get what He suffered and died to give you.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Psalm 89:34

When God promises you something, do you take Him at His Word? Or do you, like Abraham, ask, ‚"Lord God, how shall I know that I will
inherit it?‚" (Genesis 15:8)

God did not reprimand Abraham for failing to take Him at His Word. That is how gracious God is to His people. He even came down to Abraham's level
of faith and did something to assure Abraham that He would always keep His promises - He made a covenant with Abraham. (Genesis 15:9-17)

God did not do it for His own benefit. God is a God of His Word. He does not break His Word. But He bound Himself to a covenant because He knew
that Abraham needed to know in his heart that God would do whatever He had promised him.

Man finds it hard to just believe words. For example, when you buy a house, a contract is drawn up and signed by both parties, and lawyers are involved. You
need a contract because you cannot trust the other person's words and he cannot trust yours either.

Likewise, we find it hard to take God at His Word. So God made a covenant with us, not because He cannot be trusted, but because He knows that we find
it hard to just believe what He says. God knows that man will wonder, ‚"What if God wakes up on the wrong side of His bed tomorrow and decides to fry me
instead of bless me?‚"

But because God has made a new covenant with us, which is established by the blood of His Son, we can, like Abraham, not waver through unbelief regarding
the promises of God, but be strengthened in our faith, being fully persuaded that God will do as He has promised. (Romans 4:20-21) We have the assurance that
God will not wake up one day and say, ‚"Forget the new covenant. I want to remember your sins now and curse you instead of bless you!‚"

My friend, the new covenant blessings for you are guaranteed because God has bound Himself to the covenant. And He is a covenant-keeping God who is
willing and more than able to do everything He has promised you!

Thought For The Day

Because God has made a new covenant with us, established by the blood of His Son, we can be fully persuaded that He will do as He has promised.

How close are you to achieving your 2012 goals? The Jack Canfield Coaching Team

Have you reached a roadblock that you can't overcome? If so, you may need to re–examine whether your thoughts and visions align with what you truly want in your life. By focusing on this, you will be able to identify the changes you need to make in order to take the next step.

Jack says that in order to succeed you need:

A clear intent Set specific, measurable goals, and objectives.
Positive expectation - Move forward with the full expectation that you will achieve what you're seeking.
Take action and persevere Act with confidence without letting excuses or fear get in your way.
Build your success team Surround yourself with individuals that are experts in the areas that you are focusing on, and let them provide you with support, expertise, and guidance.

Believe it's possible – Sometimes we forget to envision our success and instead we focus on the problems at hand. We put our attention on roadblockseither real or imaginedrather than making sure that the path ahead is clear. Take a few minutes each day to envision the successful version of you. Having this mindset will motivate you and increase your self-confidence so you do not second guess yourself.

Believe in yourself The choice of what to believe in is up to you. No matter how many people say you can't, or how many doors appear closed, you must believe that you can succeed no matter what.

Control your reaction How are you reacting to your current circumstances? Remember that you only have control over 3 things: Your behavior, your thoughts, and the images in your mind. If you have encountered a challenge or a major setback, it's easy to throw blame and disassociate yourself from your responsibility. Fortunately, you have a choice. You can see every difficult event as a negative, or choose to see it for what it could be: something that is meant to enrich you, make you stronger, and motivate you to move forward.

Take action! There's rarely a "perfect time to do anything. So if you're waiting for the "perfect time to launch a business, buy a home, start investing, lose weight, or anything else that's important to you, then it may never happen. Although it's important to be prepared, it's detrimental to waste your valuable time over preparing and over analyzing your game plan.

Maintain your momentum! Change can be difficult and uncomfortable which is why we tend to become stagnant in our lives and stay in our comfort zone. Remember, it's perfectly fine to learn from your mistakes and it's imperative to make the necessary corrections, which will allow you to keep moving forward. To hear more from Jack on maintaining your momentum, view the new video Jack has released: "Staying on Track for Success.

Self image in Selling - By Brian Tracy

Hi,

Did you know that your self-image in selling is a key part of your personality? Your self-image is the way you think about yourself and is often called your "inner mirror."

You look into this mirror in every situation to see how you should perform on the outside. You always behave on the outside in a manner consistent with the picture you have of yourself on the inside.

How Do You See Yourself

For example, do you see yourself, as calm, confident and competent in any aspect of selling? If you do, you will feel calm, confident and competent. You will be positive and happy. You will perform well and get excellent results. If, for any reason, it doesn't go well at that time, you will throw it off and dismiss it as a temporary situation. Your self-image is clear. In your mind's eye you see yourself as good and capable in that area, and nothing can interfere with your mental picture.

Change Your Self-Image

The most rapid improvements in sales results come from changing your self-image. The moment that you see yourself differently, you behave differently as well. And because you are behaving differently, you get different results.

My Own Story

Some years ago, when I was selling club memberships from office to office, I would end my presentation by giving the prospect a booklet outlining the membership benefits and encourage him to "think about it." My self-image was such that I could not bring myself to ask the prospect to make a buying decision. All day long, I would go from office to office giving my presentation and leaving a little book with descriptions to read. And as you might imagine, I was not making any sales. When I called people back after they had time to think about it, they would invariably say that they were not interested.

The Turning Point

I was getting desperate. I was living from hand to mouth at the time. Although I was seeing lots of prospects, I was making very few sales. Then I had a revelation which changed my career at the time. I realized that it was my fear of asking for the order that was causing all my problems. It was not my prospects. It was me. I needed to change my self-image and thereby change my behavior if I wanted results to improve.

Make A Decision

The very next morning, I made the decision that I would not call back on a prospect. The size of the purchase was small and, when I had completed my presentation, the prospect would know everything that he needed to know to make a decision. There was no benefit or advantage of leaving material behind or giving the prospect several days to think about it. At my very first call, and I still remember it, when I had finished my presentation, the prospect said, "Let me think it over." I smiled and told him that I did not make call backs because I was too busy, and then I said, "You know everything you need to know to make a decision right now. Why don't you just take it?" I remember him shrugging his shoulders and saying, "OK. I'll take it. How would you like to be paid?"

Double Your Earnings

I walked out of that office on a cloud. That very day I tripled my sales. That week, I sold more than anyone else in the company. By the end of the month, they had made me the sales manager with 42 people under me. I went from making one or two sales per week to making ten or fifteen sales per week. I went from worrying about money to a large salary with an override on the activities of all my salespeople. My sales life took off and, with few exceptions, it never stopped. And the turning point was that conscious choice to modify my self-image and make it more consistent with the results I wanted rather than the results that I was getting.

Maybe You Have the Key. By Zig Ziglar

Many years ago in a beautiful cathedral in Europe, an elderly man was beautifully and skillfully playing the organ. All the music he played was of a melancholy nature because that day he was being replaced by a younger organist.

As the sun was beginning to set, the back door opened and a rather brusque young man strode into the cathedral. The elderly organist recognized his successor, arose from the bench and removed the key to the organ. The young organist approached the older one and without any preliminaries held out his hand and said, “Please. The key.” The old man slowly handed it over to him. Quickly, the young man sat down on the bench, inserted the key and began to play.

While the old man had played beautifully, professionally and with considerable skill, the young man played with genius. Incredible music filled the cathedral, the village, and even part of the countryside. The old man hesitated at the door, tears streaming down his cheeks as he realized what was happening. Softly he said to himself, “Suppose, just suppose, I had not given the master the key.” The young man was Johann Sebastian Bach.

You might never have the privilege of giving “the master the key,” but sometimes a simple word of encouragement can be the key for someone else. Remember, someone introduced Einstein to mathematics and taught him that 2+2=4. Another introduced Johann Sebastian Bach to music and taught him the scale. All of us, in many ways, influence other people. If we make that influence a good one, who knows how many “masters” we might be giving a key? Give away those “keys” and I will SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

Zig Ziglar is known as America’s motivator. He is the author of 31 books . Check out his new book, Born to Win.

Dog Collar Conditioning. By Lee Colan, Ph.D.

... sharing...

I was taking a long walk with our small family dog, Sparky, after a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Not sure who needed the exercise more. Although it was a well-worn path for both of us, this particular walk taught me a lesson about my dog and about me.

Sparky is a great dog (and that’s coming from a guy who is relatively new at pet ownership), but he is not a particularly well-trained dog. That’s a direct result of having a poorly trained owner. As a result, we have to be careful about leaving doors and gates open or Sparky will run like the wind.

This walk started off like business as usual (if you know what I mean). Then Sparky decided to continue his sniffing in one spot a little too long, so I gave the leash a gentle tug. As I learned later, Sparky’s dog collar had been loosened just one notch while he was at the vet’s office the day before. So this time when I tugged, his little head popped right out of the leash and he was free to roam, run, skedaddle or run like the wind!

But Sparky just sat there looking up at me, seemingly trapped. In reality he was as free as he had ever been. It was like a smorgasbord of all the smells and critters he could sniff and chase… a canine buffet! But Sparky stood still, paralyzed by the unknown of this freedom. He willingly let me reaffix his dog collar, allowing him to assume his normal comfort zone.

Hmmm, I thought. How many times have I stayed within my own self-imposed boundaries? Probably more often than I’d like to admit. How about you?

I see this “dog collar conditioning” frequently in the workplace. Leaders’ boundaries are usually much wider than their team’s perception of those boundaries. In other words, we often condition ourselves to live and work in a smaller world because of our own limiting thoughts. We typically have more control and freedom than we think.

Our biggest barriers to greater success and freedom are not “out there.” They are “in here” (Lee pointing to his head). To realize our potential, we must re-condition our thinking to stretch beyond the boundaries of our own comfort.

Remember, growth and learning occurs when we are uncomfortable. So, take off your “mental dog collar” and explore new limits of success!

Communicating Effectively. By Zig Ziglar

Just thought i should share.

My friend, author-speaker Nido Qubein, in his Executive Briefing newsletter, gives some advice on communicating with people from other cultures. “We must remember that people from different backgrounds send and receive messages through cultural filters. Words, expressions and gestures that mean one thing in one culture may mean something entirely different in another culture. A term or a gesture that may seem perfectly harmless to you may be offensive to someone from another ethnic group.” Nido says that, “We must first find out what terms and expressions are offensive to minority ears and avoid slang words that refer to people of different racial, ethnic or national minorities. Don’t use them even in joking. Next, we need to understand that English is a precise language but is perceived as blunt by many speakers of other languages. For example, Americans often pride themselves on ‘telling it like it is,’ but this is a turn-off to Japanese workers who practice ‘ishin-denshin’ – that is, communication by the heart.”

“Saving face” is an important consideration in some cultures and this may influence the way people respond to you. If you say, “Do you understand?” to someone from an Asian culture, you may get a polite “yes” when the person has no idea what you’re talking about. If they say “no,” it can only mean one of two things to many Asians: They’re too dense to comprehend or you are a poor instructor. Nido says that it’s important to watch the facial expressions of the person with whom we’re talking. It’s hard to disguise puzzlement and it’s usually easy enough to tell whether the face comprehends. He suggests that first of all we ask for feedback; second, that we listen carefully for questions because if there are no questions, there’s likely to be no understanding. Third, we should use clear, simple language. This is only a minute capsule of communicating properly with those from other cultures, but it’s a good place to start. Give it a try and I’ll SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

The prayer of Jabez

Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless me and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and You would keep me from evil so it might not hurt me! And God granted his request. 1 Chro 4:10

So i say unto you today,
May you be blessed when you come in and when you go out...May God enlarge your territory... May His hand be with you in all you do and keep you from the evil one. May He grant your requests.

STAND

Morning lovely people.

Hope your Labor day was as lovely as mine.

I need to say, I have a habit of listening to a particular song for hours or days. I think that is something only God can explain. Well... I also know that I’m extreme with whatever I put my heart to. That’s why I try to avoid the negative.

Soooo... for some reason, I have been listening to - STAND - "After you've done all you can .... You just stand.
Then, today morning as I was walking down to get a taxi, I found a friend driving out of her gate... she asked me if i wanted a lift, however i declined because I was enjoying the music through my earphones and I just wanted to continue in His presence which I thought I would not have if I got a lift .

Anyways, there was taxi already waiting for passengers... so I got a lovely seat then set my eyes onto the nature and people on the road. Half way through my journey... I remembered that I had not placed my Money-purse in my bag.
Yes, my lovely people… I had forgotten it at home. I couldn’t believe… but HE was faithful because HE had prepared a kind neighbor. YOU see God knew I had forgotten the purse, so he provided the first solution… which I now realize I fore went. But then he also provided a second solution which makes me marvel. As for now, I just wait for the banks to open up till then ---after you’ve done all you can---you just stand.

SO I ASK AGAIN, “WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU HAVE DONE ALL YOU CAN”?

Have a lovely month.

Most Men Don’t Understand. By Zig Ziglar

It’s true. The typical husband and father doesn’t have a clue as to what the housewife—whether she be full-time or part-time—does to maintain the home. Ruth Hampton expressed it this way: “The most influential position in the nation today is held by a woman. She enforces law, practices medicine and teaches without degree, certificate of competence or required training. She handles the nation’s food, administers its drugs and practices emergency first aid. She cares for all the physical and mental ills of the family; a man literally places his life and the lives of his children in the hands of this woman–his wife.”

It is, of course, true that many men—and, fortunately, this is increasing, though it’s still far from equal—do help with things around the house. However, there is a tremendous difference in helping vs. being responsible for. Typically, the husband asks “What can I do?” when the wife can clearly see what needs to be done. The husband too often assumes that it’s “no big deal,” that his wife really doesn’t need any help, and besides, he needs to relax after a tough day. Example: On Monday night, even though she might be a football fan as much as her husband, she’s the one who puts the laundry into the washer, moves it to the dryer during the commercial break and folds and places the clothes where they belong at half-time. When the game is over, if she’s had any interest in it, she probably takes the dishes out of the dishwasher. In the meantime, the husband doesn’t have a clue as to what’s going on. There is a significant difference in taking responsibility and offering to help.

Now, husbands, before you get too upset with me, remember, if the shoe doesn’t fit, don’t wear it. However, studies reveal that what I’ve said is largely true. Good luck to all of you. Husbands, help your wives and I’ll SEE YOU AT THE TOP!

The best way to make your spouse and children feel secure is not with big deposits in bank accounts, but with little deposits of thoughtfulness and affection in the “love account.” ~Zig Ziglar

WOW...WHOA... I hope you enjoyed this as much as i did.

Don't forget to SMILE

The dictionary says that to smile is to "look joyous.

Generally speaking, the first thing we notice when we meet a person is the smile--or absence of same--on their face. My favorite compliment is, "You certainly have a beautiful smile."

Factually, there are very few things that influence for the good and give more encouragement than a sincere smile. Henry Miller said, "There is power in a smile. Joseph Addison said, "What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity.

There you have it... don't forget to smile today.

Remember to be thankful.

Appreciation can change your life. Are you allowing small things to get in the way of your transformation and the life you deserve?

Keep in mind, if you are criticizing, you are not being thankful. If you are blaming, you are not being thankful. If you are complaining, you are not being grateful. If you are feeling tension, you are not being appreciative. If you are rushing, you are not being grateful. If you are in a bad mood, you are not being grateful.

So help me God.

Hello people.

Do you have unfulfilled dreams? Is there a desire hidden deep in your heart that is gradually dying? Has life squashed your dreams? Has discouragement, distraction, mediocrity, procrastination, laziness, busy-ness or just downright disappointment caused you to give up?

Think back to your childhood...back to the time when you thought you could be or do anything, before you'd been told what is and isn't possible, before your relationships, career path or other choices caused you to end up where you are today.
I believe you still can. Now is the time for you to re-launch the Dream!

Dig up your buried dreams, dust them off and propel them to reality. There's never been a better time in history or in your lifetime to start and pursue the fulfillment of your deepest dreams and desires.

Keep smiling & believing

communicating effectively

When it comes to important communication, most of us spend the bulk of our time worrying about what we are going to say: the words we'll use and the way those words fit together to express whatever it is we are trying to get across.

But when it comes to powerful, effective communication, the truth is how you say your words matters far more than the words themselves!

I'm talking about your voice.

That's right! The way your voice sounds is an unbelievably critical component in any successful communication.

Research has shown that the words you speak account for about 7 percent of what makes you believable to someone else. Just 7 percent!

So what accounts for the other 93%? Tonality and physiology: the way you sound when you're communicating and what your body is doing while you're communicating.

Here's why:

The instant you begin speaking, people listening to you begin to form very definite opinions and judgments about your intelligence, your personality, your sincerity, your authority, your abilities, your background, and more.

These opinions begin to form and solidify within the first five seconds of your speech - long before the actual words you're saying begin to take on any significant meaning for the listener. And once established, they can be extremely difficult to change. Even when the words you're saying completely contradict the message your tonality is sending.

That's why even the most carefully worded, painstakingly practiced speech, presentation, or conversation can go completely awry.

Communicate with charisma, clarity, and absolute precision,
using the secret weapon of the stars!

People who use their voice to make a living - like actors, singers, radio personalities, motivational speakers, and politicians - are acutely aware of this. They know that if they want to succeed, they need to be able to communicate clearly and precisely, and they need to be able to accurately predict their audiences' reactions and opinions.

You may not be a movie star or public speaker. And you may never have given more than a passing thought to the sound of your voice. But the fact is, you're constantly communicating with "audiences" of one kind or another: your clients, colleagues, kids, spouse, and all the other people you encounter throughout the course of a day.

Your level of achievement, happiness, and satisfaction in life is directly related to the outcomes of those communications.

If you want them to be as successful as possible, it is vital that you gain control of the one factor that, more than any other, determines communication success...

...your voice.

Okkk.... peeps.... don't say i didn't share.:-) To all entrepreneurs, good luck.

1. They get that the #1 way to build a global brand is one customer at a time.

2. They obsess around having an impact vs. growing their income (and so their income soars).

3. They listen more than they speak. And they deliver more than they promise.

4. They use their most valuable hours to do their most valuable work (don’t check email first thing in the morning).

5. They get that you can’t have an A-level company if you hire B-level people.

6. They are deeply aware that jealousy is the tribute mediocrity pays to Mastery. And so they fearlessly pour their Genius into the world.

7. They understand that what the amateur calls genius, the professional calls practice.

8. They are fanatics around building a systems-driven company. Everything has a system built around it. This ensures consistently fantastic results. And allows the entrepreneur to take extraordinary amounts of time off. [I've recorded a powerful training video that will show you how to really grow an ultra-successful company while you live a much better life. It's called "The Napa Valley Adventure". Watch it now: http://theremarkableentrepreneur.com/napavalleyadventure]

20. They are “Apple-like” in their willingness to think differently and ensure their products leave customers breathless.

21. They stick to their convictions – especially in the face of criticism.

22. They relentlessly stay true to their clearly articulated vision – even when confronted with the most heartbreaking of obstruction.

23. They adore the mantra: “How may I best serve the most people?”

24. They challenge the way they worked yesterday for the sake of even bigger work tomorrow.

25. They get that either you disrupt the status quo in your industry (and within your life), or you will be disrupted. And it will hurt.

26. They spend their days doing real work versus fake work. And getting important things done versus being really busy being busy.

27. They know that if they’re not frightened a lot they’re not achieving a lot.

28. They appreciate that Leadership’s no longer about ensuring compliance but inspiring connections, being of service and getting great things done.

29. They work hard to craft a high-performance culture, understanding that the culture of the organization stages the performance of its people.

30. They are more fascinated in building a company that will endure the generations than an enterprise that is hot for a few quarters. Iconic is their obsession.

31. They get that failure is the foundation of innovation.

32. They are acutely aware that the winning formula that made their company successful just might be the one that makes their company obsolete. And so they break what works. And stay foolish and hungry.

33. They deliver results versus voice rationalizations.

34. They view angry customers as breathtakingly great opportunities to create fanatical fans.

35. They know that if people are not laughing at your 24 Month Magnificent Obsession (More on that and all these ideas at The Remarkable Entrepreneur SuperConference 2012 in Toronto, Canada June 2+3 – see below for details to grab a seat while you can – I really want to help you win this year!), you have the wrong vision.

36. They perceive connections with their community as the main aim of commerce.

37. They are devoted to getting into their absolute best physical condition. They have zero desire to be the richest people in the graveyard.

38. They understand that the greatest gift you can give a teammate (or a customer or your child) is the gift of your undivided attention.

39. They know that logic is the dream killer. Instead, they trust instinct, creativity and passion to lead them to where they need to go.

40. They have learned that few things feel better than the pride you’ll feel on a job beautifully done.

Children are a gift from God.

It was one of those bad days...A few weeks ago while baby sitting my niece. Unfortunately, she wasn't feeling well too.
In the midst of this all, she kept singing “Your grace is enough x3 for me".

I couldn’t believe how God uses moments. This time it came through my little brilliant 3 years old niece. God indeed works in mysterious ways.

I still keep holding on to the words “YOUR GRACE IS ENOUGH FOR ME.

Be blessed

Whoa!!!!!!!! a few more days to the end of February, surely the world must be rotating faster than 15years ago.

Do you know that, "A loving person lives in a loving world. A hostile person lives in a hostile world. Everyone you meet is your mirror." Figure out who you are and get back to me:-)

This reminds me of what Dale Carnegie wrote, "You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you. "

Teach me your ways.

Life is busy and filled with distractions. It is easy to get caught up in our cares, errands and worries that we lose sight of what matters most.

There’s a little story at the end of Luke chapter two about when Mary and Joseph taking Jesus to Jerusalem for the Passover when he was twelve years old. After the festival they left to go home, supposing Jesus was with them.
I wonder how many times we suppose God’s with us when we have wondered off to do our own thing?

We need to be careful to remain in the presence of God, Learn to honor him with our thoughts and words so that we are blessings to those around us

Your Defination of Success!

Too many people are living their neighbors' lives. So many amongst us are building our futures based on a definition of success sold to us by society+the media+our peers. That's fine if you're consciously choosing to live by those values. But what if - at truth - you have a different set of values. And the success you are currently chasing actually has little to do with what will make you happy when you review your life at the end?

My encouragement is to take 60 minutes over the next few days and rethink what you are investing your mental focus and physical energy on. Are you spending your time on work that matters and personal pursuits that are moving the needle forward? Or are you stuck in the thick of thin things? Being really busy being really busy?

A life is a tragic thing to waste. Yet too many of us - born into the potential to live soaring lives as well as contribute to raising the lives around them - waste our best hours on mindless distractions, needless interruptions and activities that are nothing more than an escape.

I also encourage you to play with the definition of success that has been transforming the lives of those using "The Robin Sharma Success System", an online 21 day training program. In it, I teach that success isn't just about making money and climbing the social ladder (the data actually confirms that people making $5 million a year are only incrementally happier than blue collar workers). Sure money matters. But I invite you to also focus on these dimensions of your life if you're serious about REAL success: personal development, family connections, being world-class at your work, having a network of friends who elevate you, creating a phenomenal lifestyle. And using your life to make a difference.

That last metric is the key. What's the point of having success but failing at Significance? Yes, chase your dreams and rise to lofty heights in the world. But please remember: greatness comes from living for a cause larger than you. And leaving our world better than you found it.

Show Your Thanks and Boost Motivation. By Brian Tracy

WOW! This is a fab read. Enjoy

Every day I want to encourage you to voice your “attitude of gratitude.” Say thank you and give constructive feedback to your staff, friends, children and co-workers and encourage them to be better in their lives and work. Make it a habit to give people continual praise and encouragement. The more you praise and encourage positive, constructive behaviors, the more deposits you make to the emotional bank account. The easier it will then be for people to take constructive feedback from you at a later time.

Appreciate People for Everything They Do There are three keys to getting the best out of others, and the first of these is appreciation. Every time you thank another person, you cause that person to like themselves better. You raise their self-esteem and improve their self-image. You cause them to feel more important. You make them feel that what they did was valuable and worthwhile. You empower them. Build Your Own Self-Esteem And the wonderful thing about thanking other people is that every time you say the words “thank you,” you like yourself better as well. You feel better inside.

You feel happier and more content with yourself and life. You feel more fully integrated and positive about what you are doing. When you develop an attitude of gratitude that flows forth from you in all of your interactions with others, you will be amazed at how popular you will become and how eager others will be to help you in whatever you are doing. Praise and Approve Others Continually The second way to make people feel important, raise self-esteem and give them a sense of power and energy, is by the generous use of praise and approval. Psychological tests show that when children are praised by the people they look up to, their energy levels rise, their heart rates and respiratory rates increase, and they feel happier about themselves overall.

Make People Feel Important Perhaps the most valuable lesson in Ken Blanchard’s book, The One Minute Manager, is his recommendation to be giving “one-minute praising” at every opportunity. If you go around your home and through your social relationships praising and giving genuine and honest approval to people for their accomplishments, large and small, you will be amazed at how much more people like you and how much more willing they are to help you achieve your goals.

Practice the Law of Reciprocity There is a psychological law of reciprocity that says, “If you make me feel good about myself, I will find a way to make you feel good about yourself.” In other words, people will always look for ways to reciprocate your kindnesses toward them. When you look for every opportunity to do and say things that make other people feel good about themselves, you will be astonished at not only how good you feel, but at the wonderful things that begin to happen all around you.
Pay Attention When They Talk The third way to empower others, to build their self-esteem and make them feel important, is simply to pay close attention to them when they talk.

The great majority of people are so busy trying to be heard that they become impatient when others are talking. But this is not for you. Remember, the most important single activity that takes place over time is listening intently to the other person when he or she is talking and expressing himself or herself. Take Every Opportunity to Build People Up Again, the three general rules for empowering the people around you that apply to everyone you meet are appreciation, approval, and attention.

Say thank you and voice your gratitude to others on every occasion. Praise them for every accomplishment.
And pay close attention to them when they talk and want to interact with you. These three behaviors alone will make you a master of human interaction and will greatly empower the people around you.

35 Fast Tips To Make This Your Best Year yet.

Hey people happy new year. :-)
Better late than never...right!!!!!! Anyways, Let me share with you one of Robin's emails that was sent to me last week. I find it very powerful.

I'm sitting on an airplane thinking about what the best performers and most successful people do to continually outperform everyone around them.

As we enter what I hope will be the single best year of your life yet, I've come up with 35 Tips that I invite you to concentrate on. Share these tips, reflect on then, post them where you can see them - and allow them to infuse your mindset:

1.Remember that the quality of your life is determined by the quality of your thoughts.
2.Keep the promises you make to others - and to yourself.
3.The project that most scares you is the project you need to do first.
4.Small daily improvements are the key to staggering long-term results.
5.Stop being busy being busy. This New Year, clean out the distractions from your work+life and devote to a monomaniacal focus on the few things that matter.
6.Read "The War of Art".
7.Watch "The Fighter".
8.In a world where technology is causing some of us to forget how to act human, become the politest person you know.
9.Remember that all great ideas were first ridiculed.
10.Remember that critics are dreamers gone scared.
11.Be "Apple-Like" in your obsession with getting the details right.
12.Take 60 minutes every weekend to craft a blueprint for the coming seven days. As Saul Bellow once said: "A plan relieves you of the torment of choice."
13.Release your need to be liked this New Year. You can't be a visionary if you long to be liked.
14.Disrupt or be disrupted.
15.Hire a personal trainer to get you into the best shape of your life. Superstars focus on the value they receive versus the cost of the service.
16.Give your teammates, customers and family one of the greatest gifts of all: the gift of your attention (and presence).
17.Every morning ask yourself: "How may I best serve the most people?"
18.Every night ask yourself: "What 5 good things happened to me this day?"
19.Don't waste your most valuable hours (the morning) doing low value work.
20.Leave every project you touch at work better than you found it.
21.Your job is not just to work. Your job is to leave a trail of leaders behind you.
22.A job is not "just a job". Every job is a gorgeous vehicle to express your gifts and talents - and to model exceptionalism for all around you.
23.Fears unfaced become your limits.
24.Get up at 5 am and take 60 minutes to prepare your mind, body, emotions and spirit to be remarkable during the hours that follow. Being a superstar is not the domain of the gifted but the prepared.
25.Write love letters to your family.
26.Smile at strangers.
27.Drink more water.
28.Keep a journal. Your life's story is worth recording.
29.Do more than you're paid to do and do work that leaves your teammates breathless.
30.Leave your ego at the door every morning.
31.Set 5 daily goals every morning. These small wins will lead to nearly 2000 little victories by the end of the year.
32.Say "please" and "thank you".
33.Remember the secret to happiness is doing work that matters and being an instrument of service.
34.Don't be the richest person in the graveyard. Health is wealth.
35.Life's short. The greatest risk is risk-less living. And settling for average.

I genuinely wish you the best year of your life.

Stay Great.
