The Christmas Market
As promised earlier, i went to the christmas market... little did i know how interesting it would be.
As can be imagined... i reached the Kempten Christmas Market hoping to see the attractions in life, little did i know we would be the tourist attraction.
For some reasons, there are not enough Black Humans in Kempten... so as me and Jenny went out to enjoy, we discovered we were the enjoyment with whistles and gazes. This made us stay a Short while...as we could not handle this. As we went out of it... we decided to stop for a cup of coffee in some restuarant. My goodness, that was the limit.
In that resturant, i got to be introduced as the Ugandan guest and Jenny got to be introduced as the POP star. It was crazily amazing.
All in all, we ended up taking snaps with well-wishers and the likes. We got Hugs and smiles that cant be spoken about.
When i reached home... Martin... Jenny's boyfriend had made a surprise dinner. The hight-light was the point when Jenny went to perform as the Black-Hiedi once again and People where mersmerized... and of course the rest is history.
From that Point forward.. Cant stop saying SHE'S MY COUSIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so grateful for this day, my hosts and my cousin.
Looking forward to knowing more about Tomorrow

TALES OF THE PAST FEW DAYS:
Sorry i have not written to you for sometime. I travelled to Kempten with my cousin Jenny on Sunday then from Kempten to Munich with a friend i met. I spent sunday night in some lovely place in Munich.
God has been so good... i cant imagine writing it all down but should say indeed all is well.
I have been up and down for the last few days and i have loved it all... thankfully i will be doing the same up and down story for the next few days so i look forward to telling you all about it.
I am so surprised of how the germans are so welcoming. I am hear to prove the world wrong and make them believe that gone are the days of Hilter.
I was so happy returning to Kempten yesterday night. I got to take the most lovely dinner.
I have the best hosts... once again i question my host abilities.
At this point i have to mention Martin, Jenny, Sonja and Roland, as some of the best hosts i have come across. Thank you guys for making me feel at home.
So today i did a german test and realized i needed alot of improvement,i also went to a good shopping mall in Kempten, ate at McDonalds but my best high-light was watchin g a live comedy performance from my cousin in Relidingen, it was a one hour and 20minutes drive but nothing can surpass Stardom at this point... nothing can describe it.
Good news... i got to share her celebration of greatness plus and added value of feeling appeciated for being a cousin. By the way my name was mentioned and i got to wave to the audiance. HOW GREAT IS THAT?
I look forward to knowing more about Kempten... i plan to go to the Christmas market tommorrow and alot of stories and writings lie ahead.

Yoga Experience
Am so back again with my daily writings about the city that never sleeps, 'The B-city'
Today's all about my experience in the Yoga Class.
I know some of you will raise your eyebrows and question how i can go for Yoga... but there it is... and here are my views:
I have been to two yoga classes at the SunYoga Centre and i have attended both the
40 and 35 degress sessions.
Truth be told I loved the after affect. Never felt better after an exercise class. Both my body and soul where taken care of.
As a christian, it's what one calls meditating... it's more of envisioning but it comes with working out with the rest of your body too.
In the 40c class... people are actually having a shower... i now understand that there should be no reason they would not call it a shower class.
So i conclude, i loved the experience but you can give me your views.
much Love

The Sushi Experience
But i must say that my best experience so far was the sushi dine...as you can all imagine the Ugandan in me could not accept the likes of sushi because we prefer it boiled or steamed. But i would like to say that The SUSHI Experince last night was really cool.
How do i sign off tonight?????? GO SUSHI
Life is experience.
Live to the fullest with a smile in every situation.
Love you all.

Say no to the good so I can say yes to the best.
In 2007 i came up with a vision-board and on it i put up all the things i wanted to attain in the coming years. I am glad to say one of the dreams was Berlin - I did a very funny thing... i photocopied my mum's deutch-visa and posted my photo on the photocopy... i couldnot believe when i got one of my own this october.
This i can say for sure... the law of attraction does work for sure.
Living in berlin for the past week has been a real thrill. Surprise-Surprise- I love the weather, I love the people, I love the coffee shops and i love the christmas Lights and malls and most of all i love my Hosts. Thanks to My hosts : Jenny (my Cousin) and Sara (one of the most beautiful girls you will ever see) life has been a blessing.
All i need is a church... anyone there to help???? looking for something like www.watotochurch.com or www.hillsong.com.
Zig Ziglar once said...I've got to say NO to the GOOD so I can say YES to the BEST.
This is one of the best. I feel Happy to be here.
If someone asked, "What do you think you have learnt in the past few days...i will have to say i need to learn to be a better host." I know for sure, i'm so poor at this.
Whats up next???? I have to say... No Clue. No matter what i do, time marches on at its own pace -tick-tock, tick- tock, tick-tock and there's nothing i can do to change that. So... i enjoy every moment of each day.
Love you all and God Bless.
Have big Dreams
Kat.

What a great day that we have ahead of us.
As I sit at my desk, I cant help but be thankful for all this technology coming our way. I became a twitter-er of recent and it's amazing how much inspired I get in a minute. Of course I consider greatly who to follow for my own sake.
If you are not yet a Twitter-er... you could think of joining the massive team of sales and marketing guys, Speakers, believers, web geniuses ...blah, blah, Blah
While at it, have fun with all you do.

2009 was a year I decided to go BOLD because the previous year was tough and demanding. I needed Boldness to go through Twenty-nine. Surprisingly, it was the year I accomplished more in my career but I felt like the most miserable human being on planet earth. And as the year ended, I was convinced that I had to step back and let God work in me. I had no idea what lay ahead but I knew who holds the future.
Despite the fact that I was knocked down a lot in Twenty-Eight, I made some big commitments for twenty-nine and while I could not figure out how they will be accomplished I was bold enough to try.
Jack Canfield one of my mentors says, you can expect to accomplish 50-60% of all goals you set on a daily, monthly or yearly basis. If you accomplish above 60% that’s excellent but one should try to reach higher heights.
So things may not go as planned from time to time but with Zeal & Determination, all things work together for good for those who Love the Lord.
Sooo…when I set my twenty-nine goals they where way ahead of my me and as a matter of fact they seemed hopeless because when I shared some of my ambitions with a close friend then, He laughed and asked how I will be able to afford it. Once again I have learnt the importance of setting goals, writing them down and speaking them out loud. The truth is, most of them may seem impossible at the beginning but with great believe and commitment to do you best...the universe works its way round to those who have faith.
Let me break it down, this year I improved my Sales and Marketing skills, I worked really hard and resumed the habit of saving, I went to South-Africa during the Easter season, I went to church with out ceasing, I went to Nairobi, I’m planning a great get-a-way holiday to Europe for the Christmas and new-years break… all of which were included in my 2009 resolutions. I may have accomplished 6 out of 10 but I am proud because most of these were way out of my league. Some I failed at… some I didn’t manage to accomplish but I’m glad I did something.
This year has been full great moments and I’m so grateful for the encouragement from my family, friends, workmates and my church, I’m thankful for the new friends I have made, the skills I have learnt, the trips I have made, times I have spent in grand hotels, and so on… but yet I am so looking forward to Twenty-10 the year I have decided to call DARING for I know that the best is yet to come. There could be some Hills and Valleys but I Know God will see me through plus I can Do all Things through Christ Who strengthens me.
Just remember; YOU CAN FALL FOR ANYTHING AS ALONG AS YOU STAND UP FOR WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.
Please note that when sharing your dream people may laugh, they may think you are crazy, as a matter of fact; I once again shared part of my plans and goals to one of my close cousin and friend the other day and she unashamedly told me that it was going to be next to impossible. The truth is I was hurt and offended but an INNER VOICE told me this makes things right because what seems Impossible with Men is Possible with God. Plus this proved that I HAVE Set GOALS higher that myself. Isn’t that what life is all about?
DON’T LET NOBODY TURN YOU AROUND. GO AFTER YOUR DREAMS AS IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT BECAUSE IT DOES.
Why did I write this????? To help you know that indeed if you believe in life so bad it will reward you in abundance and even though you are required to fall a number of times you will count your blessing on a daily and monthly basis if you persist.
LOVE IS LIFE…If you miss LOVE you miss LIFE.
I look forward to Twenty-10 the year in which I have set myself to be Daring in my thoughts and actions.
Grateful & believing,
Kat

Some of My favorite quotes this month.
Les Brown
*To do well you must be good, and to do good you must first be good. good Stephen Covey
*Suffering is more than just pain. Suffering occurs in another realm where western medicine can’t peer through its microscopes. You can be completely cured of an illness and still be suffering – suffering from the anguish of the treatment, from the fear of mortality, from the fact that it has disrupted your whole life. Dr. Deepak Chopra.
*There is a God. He is behind you, He believes in you, and cares about you. He wouldn’t have created you, and then left you alone. Jack Canfield

filled with questions.
Believe me, I had to sit through the whole conversation and weigh what would have been if I where in their shoes.
These where my conclusions, I think it’s pretty unfair that those ladies who are 40+ and supposedly have children are being paying 390,000Ug Shs.
Especially since I got to understand that this money included transportation, lunch and up-keep. This is crazy…
But then I couldn'thelp feeling so sorry for them. If things are that bad, why are they still digging the hole? When should ENOUGH be ENOUGH?
Help me understand…

Great and powerful words from Anthony Robbins.
If you don’t set a baseline standard for what you’ll accept in your life, you’ll find it’s easy to slip into behaviors and attitudes or a quality of life that’s far below what you deserve.
You need to set and live by these standards no matter what happens in your life. Even if it all goes wrong , even if it rains on your parade , even if the stock market crashes, even if your lover leaves you, even if no one gives you support that you need, you still must stay committed to your decision that you will live your life at the highest level.

Never take counsel of your fears.
Believing in yourself is a choice.
You were specifically designed for a reason.
Emerson declared tremendous truth: They conquer who believe they can.
Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain. Practice confidence and faith and your fears and insecurities will soon have no power over you.
You have what it takes.
Never take counsel of your fears.
The secret is to fill your mind with thoughts of faith and confidence.
It’s not what life hands you but how you respond to it that really matters most.

The Power of Thoughts
If you think you are beaten you are,
If you think you dare not you don’t.
If you like to win but you think you can’t
It’s almost certain you won’t.
If you think you will lose you’re lost.
For out in the world we find,
Success begins in the fellow’s will-
It’s all in the state of mind.
If you think you are outclassed you are,
You have got think high to rise,
You have got to be sure of yourself
Before you can ever win a prize.
Life’s battles don’t always go to the
Faster or stronger man but soon or later,
The man who wins is the man
WHO THINKS HE CAN.

HOW TO GET PEOPLE TO LIKE YOU.
Not being liked can produces Illness, frustration and serious psychological consequences.
To be a master of popularity, you must become one of those rare character about whom people say: He/She has something.
To get people to like you, become comfortable with yourself. Be easy going and natural, having a pleasant, kind personality.
You must be easy to be with and you must be good company. Many times, you have to create an outstanding example.
Like the people you come across. Do not perfect your faults but spend the rest of your life building capacity for friendliness. Practice building up people’s Egos. Make people feel important. Build up as many people as you can then they will give you their undying devotion.
Remember to 'Do it Unselfishly".
Be warned though, you will never get everybody to like you.
Be wise not to let this affect you if you do not achieve perfect popularity with everyone.

LET IT GO. Revised Edition but Originally written by T.D.Jakes
There are people who can walk away from you; and hear me when I tell you this! When people walk away from you: Let them walk.
I don’t want you to try to talk another person into staying with you or staying attached to you.
When people walk away from you, let them walk.
People leave you because they are not joined to you, you can’t make them stay.
You’ve got to know when it’s over. Let me tell you something, You've the gift of Goodbye.
If you are holding on to something that doesn’t belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to…LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to past hurts and pains…LET IT GO!!!
If someone can’t treat you right, love you back and see your worth…LET IT GO!!!
If someone has angered you…LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge…LET IT GO!!!
If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction…LET IT GO!!!
If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talents…LET IT GO!!!
If you have a bad attitude… LET IT GO!!!
If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better …LET IT GO!!!
If you are stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in him…LET IT GO!!!
If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship…LET IT GO!!!
If you keep trying to help someone who won’t even try to help themselves…LET IT GO!!!
If you’re feeling depressed and stressed… LET IT GO!!!
If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself And God is saying, “Take your hands off it,” then you need to… LET IT GO!!!
Let the past be the past.

YOUR BOSS CANNOT MAKE YOU RICH. By Napoleon Hill
Recently a friend of mine sold his company. He put more than 15 million dollars into his bank the day of the sale. His employees had to look for new jobs.
At the farewell party, which was filled with tears, there were also undercurrents of extreme anger and resentment. Although he had paid them well for years, most workers were not financially better off on their last day of work than they were on their first day of work. Many people realized that the owner of the company had gotten rich while they spent all their years collecting their paychecks and paying bills.
The reality is your boss’ job is not to make you rich. Your boss’ job is to make sure you get your paycheck. If you have poor management skills then all the money in the world can not save you. If you budget wisely then you are on your path to great personal fortune and most importantly freedom.

HOW TO EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
John. D. Turner
A mountain stream that flows down a majestic peak often has to alter it’s course from year to year. Fallen tree branches, clumps of dead leaves and dislodged rocks can make the mountain terrain change from season to season. So each season the water must forge a different path on it’s journey to the valley.
This story bewilders my human existence. Moses woke up one morning and was told to lead the Israelites out of bondage. It is said that the journey from Egypt to Israel was an 11 (eleven) day trip and yet it took them 40 years!!!!!
40 full years Gallivanting in the desert????? My...oh...my!
I have heard and seen people who are at the exact spot year after year. I have as well fallen victim to this in many areas of my life. We tend to fear to fail, we worry about the road unknown. For these reasons we are kept in bondage from our wants and desires instead of setting our faith to the creator and owner of all things.
One year ago, I was praying with a friend when all over a sudden she said, Kathy, we have settled in the wilderness for so long. Moreover, it is totally our fault because we have accepted the circumstances.
She said, It is time to believe in God to work wonders in our lives.
This particular story of the wilderness is an allrounder with all conditions of our lives. For example; financial wilderness, job wilderness, partner wilderness, social wilderness, political wilderness, religious wilderness and so on…
Gosh!!!!!! It frightens me to be at the exact spot 30 - 40 years down the road. Yet again, that is exactly what will happen if we loose trust and faith in God and ourselves.
Let’s take a stand. A lot is at stake if we don’t.
Passionate about life.

SLAVERY RE-BRANDED?
Ok… do you just love the world or is it me? What exciting days we are living in.
It takes me a wee while to write on my blog nowadays. But I think of you often.
It’s been a fabulous weekend and I’m looking forward to what this week has installed for me.
Well the last few weeks have been crazy busy but good…giving back to the community and a lot of very special moments. I have been working with a prestigious company. And this has brought a lot of reflections to how I view life. With each passing day, I’m filled with owe trying to understand this. My thoughts are deeply perplexed. Personally, I have no delusions regarding work but has it enslaved us to the point of no return? So many of us spend more that 8 hours at work, 2 hours in the traffic jam then home to sleep… and the worst thing is a huge number only goes to work for the money. More than 70% of all people who have that working routine Hate. Their. Jobs.
Is it not true then that most people have becomes slaves to their work?
John Bevere an author describes a Slave as one who has to serve. You have to do something whether you like it or not.
As I reflected on John’s thoughts, I couldn’t help but grief of what the world has become. With each passing day I want to align more tangibly with the thoughts of freedom. I see faces that yearn for something. How far can one go? What happened to making choices or having freedom of this and that?
What’s the purpose of my writing these rumbling thoughts? I want to encourage whoever reads this, to do something you love on a daily basis. It is vital that you spend enough time with the people you love and engage in doing the things you love too. Life is so fantastic to keep spending much of your time on things that stress you.
Ok – so I really hope you will position yourself for a brighter future with those you treasure most.
Food for thought: - Most of the so successful people wish they spent more time with the people and things they treasured most.
Have a fabulous week everyone. Be safe, be strong, and be blessed!!!

Well people it has been a wee while but all is well.
Through out my race for the last few months I realize that: For winning is no more than this: To rise each time you fall."
We all have "races" we run and sometimes stumble along the way. But life is more than struggles. Never believe you don’t have what it takes. Adversity can be an energizer and not a stumbling block.
Napoleon Hill says: - Every adversity has within it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit.
It is easy to get to the top after you get through the crowd at the bottom.
There is hope, keep on moving.
Embrace the Struggle!
Life is good

AMAZING SOUTH AFRICA.... HOWEVER!
Mandela square which is a must see for all who visit SA fortunately lies in a small city between Joburg and Pretoria called Sandton.
The shopping malls, transportation systems, mines, drive-thru restaurants, parks plus the orderliness are extra-ordinary.
It’s too ordered that cars actually stop at the STOP SIGN. People make lines to get into the taxis…first come, first serve. AMAZING!
Uganda teaches us none of these; In fact, the Country Motto should change to ‘Everyone for his own God for us all’. There is so much of hassling in the Pearl of Africa.
During my first week I adventured round with an acquaintance that happened to come from Uganda. She was a business lady so she had been in SA a number of times… anyways; it was all too abnormal at times that we found ourselves wanting to go ahead of the line.
I accidentally went ahead of some gentleman in one of the shops… but the man told me in a polite voice that He had come before me…. My…my…my! It’s been long since I experienced such order.
The public transportation system is absolutely remarkable. And I’m comparing this with Uganda and Kenya. The South African Matatus have no taxi conductors…. One gets into a taxi, then money is collected from the back to the front. I mean you send your money forward and amazingly expect that your change will be passed-back to you by the passengers.
The people use words like four… in other words, four people have paid from the back seat, then three… or two. In that case if you happened to be the co-driver… it is your responsibility to see that everyone has paid the right amount then hand the money over to the driver.
In other words, if your mathematics scores are below average don’t bother sitting in the front. Ha-ha
How then can this country have a high Crime rate with so much order in its system?
Then again i ask, is South Africa ready to host the world cup?????
Through my obseravations.... PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW THAT IT'S OK TO SMILE AND GREET PEOPLE DESPITE OF THEIR ORIGIN.
Hans Hoffmann says it best; "The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak."

“IF YOU MARRY ME, I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU…”
As I walked this morning towards Park Meadows - a huge shopping mall in Bruma… a man’ run towards me speaking in tongues…I said the same thing I have said again and again… I don’t speak that language”. He walked off and I had my peace.
I can tell you thousands of such incidents that have taken place since I came but today evening as I walked towards the garage (Petrol station) to buy some credit, a man came towards me and spoke in South African English, (which by the ways is so difficult to understand) I will quote his words… “If you marry me, I will never leave you”.
Ha-ha! Geez… I was so puzzled to give an answer...my mouth and eyes said it all.
Can I conclude that it’s not just a Ugandan thing for men to propose out of the blue… could this be a world-wide thing?

An Awesome Adventure.
Hope you are doing well.
Reading through what I wrote last night I once again I am amazed at how great and wonderful our God is!
Ha!!!
Well people it has now been 20 days in SA, can you believe that… I have been stunned and overwhelmed by the beauty and organization...feel like I need to reflect on the journey thus far. It really has been an awesome ordained adventure!!!
I have loved almost every minute of it! And have well and truly felt the stretch on all levels!!!! Well it’s been a blast… my first moments were of great excitement with Sun City on my third-day.
Anyway you may find this amusing. From a fantastic Sunday in Sun City with two 2 Ugandan acquaintances, we were stopped by the South African police… this was funny because the guy who was driving has lived in SA for 10 years, yet we were driving at the wrong side of the road… How it happened… Geez, I’ve got no idea but as you all can imagine two police cars were on our trail… Imagine this scenario, it’s 9:00pm with two police cars in front and behind your car…
I laughed out loud… not because of my ignorance but due to the fact that I had never experienced this in my life. It was a real life movie.
To make matters worse, the driver was a typical Ugandan who lived in South Africa… LOL… because HE….ohhh… yes…. He moved out of his car to go talk to the policewoman… My oh My. “ONLY IN UGANDA”.
The Ugandan in him is taken everywhere he goes… How is that possible?
Anyway after a few minutes we were let off the hook… my guess was because he was a Priest, the policewoman thought he was all innocent. Haaaa… I knew better…Thank God it was a Sunday.
All in all it was a FABULOUS highway road experience! Life has a fun side once in a while.
I look forward to getting back to Joburg tomorrow.
Okay, I think I need to stop now

HOW YOU VIEW YOUR PAST RELATIONS IS A SCOPE FOR YOUR FUTURE ONES.
As much as I want to write and share every page of this book… it’s an honor to share this wisdom with you.
HOW YOU VIEW YOUR PAST RELATIONS IS A SCOPE FOR YOUR FUTURE ONES.
There is an old parable that fits this situation. Back in the days when the settlers were moving to the West, a wise man stood on a hill outside a new western town. As the settlers came from the East, the wise man was the person they met before coming to the settlement. They asked eagerly what the people of the town were like.
He answered them with a question: “what were the people like from the town you just left?’
Some said, “The town we came from was wicked. The people were rude gossipers who took advantage of innocent people. It was filled with thieves and liars.”
The wise man answered, “This town is the same as the one you left.”
They thanked the man for saving them from the trouble they had just come out of. They then moved on further west.
Then another group of settlers asked the same question: “What is this town like?”
The wise man asked again, “What was the town like were you just came from?’
They responded. “It was wonderful! We had dear friends. Everyone looked out for the others’ interest. There was never any lack, all cared for one another. If someone had a big project, the entire community gathered to help. It was a hard decision to leave, but we felt compelled to make way for future generations by going west as pioneers.”
The wise man said to them exactly what he had said to the other group: “This town is the same as the one you left.”
These people responded with joy, “Let’s settle here!”
How they viewed their past relations was their scope for their future ones. The way you leave one relationship is the way you will enter into the next. Statistics say 60 to 65 percent of divorced people end up getting divorced again after remarrying.
Many times God will allow people to run from situations He desires them to face if they are set on running from their hearts.
If we are so set in our hearts not to face difficult situations, God will actually release us even though it is not his perfect will.
Does God Change his mind?
The answer is, God doesn’t change his mind, sometimes we are so set on going to a place that God Lets us go. He lets us do what we want even if it’s not His original plan – even when it’s not in our best interest.
But this can only give us temporary relief. The root of the problem remaining untouched.
How You View Your Past Relations Is A Scope For Your Future Ones.

Eight Ways Dads Benefit Boys
Countless studies have shown that growing up with a father increases boys’ school performance, and decreases their risk of committing a crime and abusing drugs and alcohol. Here are eight more ways dads influence boys–whether they live in the home or stay involved on a regular basis.
1. Shape their identity. Boys look to fathers in their search for self. Without a father, boys have a harder time defining who they are and who they want to be. A boy’s search for self starts with his father.
2. Help them belong. The need to belong to a family or tribe is a powerful force in boys. Having a father in the picture gives them this sense of alliance. Studies show that boys without fathers are more likely to join gangs–because they have to look outside the family for social acceptance.
3. Influence their values. Boys with fathers are more likely than their fatherless peers to have economic stability in the household. This gives them a sense of self-worth. Other values fathers shape: work ethic, having a healthy relationship, and persevering.
4. Demonstrate character. Boys look up to their fathers and imitate what they see. Fathers can model good character traits like integrity, honesty, courage, restraint, fairness, foresight, and citizenship. When fathers are absent, boys look to celebrities, popular musicians, or sports figures for character cues.
5. Teach respect. A father who does not show up for his boy epitomizes disrespect. Present fathers, on the other hand, can actively teach respectful behaviors such as listening, trust, tolerance, politeness, and understanding limits.
6. Fill the void. Boys without fathers often feel as though there’s something missing, which is why some fatherless boys turn to sex, pornography, violence, drugs, alcohol, or other self-destructive behaviors. Having a father helps boys feel complete.
7. Balance ideas about sex. Boys without fathers have a lot of unanswered questions about sex. A side effect is that they don’t talk about sex and get the practical advice that would carry them into healthy, fulfilling relationships as men. Fathers can give practical advice about girls, sex, wet dreams, contraceptives, pregnancy, and other topics they are not likely to discuss with their moms.
8. Give them love. Boys who don’t have involved fathers often view love as vulnerability, and trust as a bad thing. Fathers show boys that love means satisfaction and completeness.

WHAT OPRAH WINFREY HAD TO SAY ABOUT MEN
If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay.
Stop making excuses for a man and his behavior.
Allow your intuition (or spirit) to save you from heartache.
Stop trying to change yourself for a relationship that's not meant to be.
Slower is better.
Never live your life for a man before you find what makes you truly happy.
If a relationship ends because the man was not treating you as you deserve
If you feel like he is stringing you along, then he probably is
Don't stay because you think "it will get better"
You'll be mad at yourself a year later for staying when things are not better.
The only person you can control in a relationship is you.
Avoid men who've got a bunch of children by a bunch of different women.
He didn't marry them when he got them pregnant, why would he treat you
Always have your own set of friends separate from his.
Maintain boundaries in how a guy treats you. If something
bothers you, speak up.
Never let a man know everything.* He will use it against you later.
You cannot change a man's behavior.* Change comes from within.
Don't EVER make him feel he is more important than you are...
Do not make him into a quasi-god.
If he cheated with you, he'll cheat on you.
A man will only treat you the way you ALLOW him to treat
you.
All men are NOT dogs.
You should not be the one doing all the bending...
Compromise is two way street.
You need time to heal between relationships...
There is nothing cute about baggage....
Deal with your issues before pursuing a new relationship
You should never look for someone to COMPLETE you...
A relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals....
Look for someone complimentary...not supplementary.
Dating is fun...even if he doesn't turn out to be Mr.
Right.
Make him miss you sometimes...when a man always know where
you are, and you're always readily available to him - he
takes it for granted
Never move into his mother's house. Never co-sign for
a man.
Don't fully commit to a man who doesn't give you
everything that you need.*
Keep him in your radar but get to know others.
Scared of being alone is what makes a lot of women stay in
relationships that are abusive or hurtful: Dr. Phill
You should know that:
You're the best thing that could ever happen to anyone
and if a man mistreats you, he'll miss out on a good
thing. If he was attracted to you in the 1st place, just
know that he's not the only one.
They're all watching you, so you have a lot of choices.
Make the right one.
Ladies take care of your own hearts....
Share this with other women and men (just so they know)...
You'll make someone smile, another rethink her choices,
and another woman prepare.

POWERFUL MISSION STATEMENTS.
We all know some days end up more special than others but the truth is each day is a gift from above. It’s kinda up to us to find the Wow … Moment.

HOW AND WHEN HE DOES ALWAYS AMAZES ME!
I love this time of the year in Uganda. The sun is bright and one fills the tropics day in & out. I have realized that "Happiness is not a goal; it is a by-product."How about that…
Reading through what was written earlier, once again I am amazed at how great and wonderful our God is all over the earth! - HE is doing incredible work, giving us such a unique opportunity to show this world that JESUS IS ALIVE!
In the world filled with negative news, God will fulfill you with surprises.
He is absolutely wonderful and you are yet to see his wonders in the recession.
I love sharing insights from my own journey in the hope that I will encourage you in yours. No one’s journey is easy. We all need some encouraging; perhaps shed some tears of relief – and joy. While I do expect God to show up in all my circumstances, How and When He does always amazes me. I wonder how He will show up for you today?
Last night I received a phone call from one of my greatest buddies. And her suggestions were completely stunning. This reminded me that God is Bigger and a Present Help!
His grace is greater than all we can imagine:
Bobbie Houston wrote a prayer about GRACE on her blog earlier this year; and i quote,
Still, I do anticipate that His Spirit WILL be among you and work within you to undoubtedly achieve both the unexpected and the longed for. I WONDER WHAT GOD WILL DO!
Talk soon,
Love Katherine

Warren Buffet New years' letter
Our happiness is diluted and our peace is threatened by the financial illness that has infected our families, organisations and nations.
Everyone is desperate to find a remedy that will cure their financial illness and help them recover their financial health.
They expect the financial experts to provide them with remedies, forgetting the fact that it is these experts who created this financial mess.
Every new year, I adopt a couple of old maxims as my beacons to guide my future.
This self-prescribed therapy has ensured that with each passing year, I grow wiser and not older.
This year, I invite you to tap into the financial wisdom of our elders along with me, and become financially wiser.
Hard work: All hard work brings profit; but mere talk leads only to poverty.
Laziness: A sleeping lobster is carried away by the water current.
Earnings: Never depend on a single source of income.
Spending: If you buy things you don't need, you'll soon sell things you need.
Savings: Don't save what is left after spending; Spend what is left after saving.
Borrowings: The borrower becomes the lender's slave.
Accounting: It's no use carrying an umbrella, if your shoes are leaking.
Auditing: Beware of little expenses; a small leak can sink a large ship.
Risk-taking: Never test the depth of the river with both feet.
Investment: Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
I'm certain that those who have already been practicing these principles remain financially healthy.
I'm equally confident that those who resolve to start practicing these principles will quickly regain their financial health.
Let us become wiser and lead a happy, healthy, prosperous and peaceful life.
Warren Buffet
SHARING BRIAN’S KNOWLEDGE.
There are basically five ways that you can become wealthy starting with nothing based on over 25 years of research into American millionaires.
Number one.
You can inherit it. Less than 10 percent of wealthy Americans inherited any of their money, and it's less and less every single year.
The Second Way.
The second way that you can become wealthy is you can achieve it professionally.
The Third Way.
The third way you can achieve it is you can become a senior executive of a large corporation.
The Fourth Way.
You can win it.
The Best Way.
The fifth way that you can become wealthy is you can start your own business and earn it all by yourself. Starting your own business has been and will always be the high road to becoming wealthy for most self-made millionaires.
This is why it has been said that if you have the ability to start your own business and you don't do it, you are a fool.
Where do you start?
You start by getting your finances under control. The very first thing you do is you make a decision to get your finances under control. Some years ago, a man named George Classon wrote a book called The Richest Man In Babylon. It's a classic on financial success and what Classon said in that book was that the key to becoming wealthy is to pay yourself first. Take ten percent off your earnings, off your gross income every month and put it aside.
Learn to live on ninety percent or less of your gross income. So the very first thing that you do is you begin to save your money.

The greatest is Love
Love does not Envy or Boast;
It is not Arrogant or Rude.
It doesn’t Insist on its way;
It’s not Irritable or Resentful;
It doesn’t rejoice at wrong doing, but Rejoices with the Truth.
Love bears all things,
Love believes all things,
Love Hopes all things,
Love Endures all things.
Love Never Ends.

HI! MY NAME IS KATHY AND I’M SUGARHOLIC.
Right... Well, it's been a wee while since I last wrote anything!
Once again I trust this finds you wel and that you are having a fantastic week. Without a doubt the world is unstable on so many fronts. In this crazy & negative world there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Let’s embrace ourselves for the best and pray for those hurting.
It’s one thing to set a goal. It’s another thing to have a plan to help you attain the desired goal into a HABIT.
Late last year, I made a commitment to stop taking artificial sugar in 2009… actually I don’t think I understood the meaning of this resolution until 1st January.
On 1st January, I paid a visit to a friend and Walaahhhhh…..there she was enjoying a delicious, white and brown chocolate bar. It hit me really bad and I got to realize that 95% of what I consumed on a daily basis had sugar. Am talking about Cakes, Cookies, Biscuits, Chocolates, Bread with peanut butter and jam, Soda’s, Sweet pies…you can name it all.
As said earlier, I had made a decision to stop taking artificial sugar for a year or so until I could handle the amounts I put into my body.
Had I made a right decision to stop consuming that much sugar? Could I pull it off?
It was 1st January and it seemed like ages.
I now realize that I was pretty addicted to Sugar. And I might as well say: - HI! MY NAME IS KATHY AND I’M A SUGARHOLIC.
We have got to be accountable for all we do…We Are What We EAT. This is the main reason I have decided to give up artificial sugar. It’s tough and requires a lot of discipline but it’s all worth it. It’s a minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day process. The truth is, it’s really hard to quit an addiction.
I can hardly believe it’s the 20th day and I have stayed away from sugar. There are times I wanted to give-up and take a soda or a pie… but somehow God has helped me through.
Each and everyday is a gift from above.
What is your addiction? And as you think about it REMEMBER that:-
You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person.
Take care, we will talk again soon... i surely hope that this site will be a major encouragement in your life throughout this year.
Living passionately,
Katherine

Happy 2009
This year brings wonderful gifts. Many of them may be disguised as ordinary Road-Blocks. But don’t focus on what's going wrong. Focus on the end result. Do your best and after you’ve done all you can, just stand and let God surprise you.
Have a wondeful year!!!
Live with a passion and dont forget to be thankful.
